This homeowner came to us with a bare concrete garage floor that was stained, cracking, and collecting dust. They wanted a durable, clean surface that could handle hot tires, daily wear, and humidity — without sacrificing aesthetics.
We recommended our full-broadcast decorative flake epoxy system: a proven solution that combines maximum durability with a professional showroom finish. The entire project — from surface prep to final topcoat — was completed in 4 working days.

After
We tested the concrete slab per ASTM F2170 and inspected for cracks, contaminants, and previous coatings. The slab passed moisture testing, allowing us to proceed without a moisture mitigation system.
Using industrial diamond grinders, we profiled the entire surface to CSP 2-3. This creates the mechanical bond that prevents peeling — the #1 reason cheap coatings fail. We never acid etch.
We applied 100% solids epoxy (not the water-based big-box store kind) and broadcast vinyl flake chips into the wet surface at full coverage. The flakes create texture, hide imperfections, and provide slip resistance.
After curing, we scraped excess flake for a smooth surface, cleaned thoroughly, and applied a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. This protects against hot-tire pickup, chemicals, and UV exposure.
“Fast, clean, and the floor is incredible. Neighbors keep asking who did it. Flake floor done in four days — drove on it the next morning.”— David T., Residential Client
